Gunfire in the Valley: Los Banos Home Invasion Turns Deadly
LOS BANOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The fourth teenage suspect in a Los Banos home-invasion shootout, which ended after the homeowner shot at the intruders, has been arrested in Stockton, according to the Los Banos Police Department.
Officers say 18-year-old Jeremy Dejon Grayson was arrested on Wednesday evening following a joint arrest operation between Los Banos Police and Stockton Police. Officers say he was arrested on the 600 block of East Hammer Lane – and attempted to run from officers prior to his arrest.
A follow up investigation helped locate the vehicle officers say was used in the incident.
Officers say five suspect are thought to be connected with the incident and four of them have been arrested so far:
Marcos Mauricio Lopez (18) of Stockton
Juan Carlos Beccera jr (19) of Stevenson
Trevor Dillan Carrillo Smith (18) of Stockton
Jeremy Dejon Grayson (18) of Stockton
Officers say the suspects were booked into jail on suspicion of homicide, assault with a firearm on person, child endangerment, conspiracy to commit crime and burglary.
Investigators add that the identity of the fifth suspect is unknown: anyone with information on the remaining suspect is asked to contact the Los Banos Police Department.
